William Eggleston, Stranded in Canton

William Eggleston (1939) is an American photographer, often called the Father of Colour Photography. He brought serious colour photography into the mainstream art world.

In 1973, photographer William Eggleston picked up a Sony PortaPak and took to documenting the soul of Memphis and New Orleans.
