Nuotrauka patalpinau i Flickr su Creative Commons licenzija, leidziancia ja laisvai naudoti. Man patinka ideja, kad tokiu budu netiesiogiai subendradarbiavom su kazkokia keltu grupe, Uragvajuje kuriancia folko dainas apie Velso imigrantu gyvenima Pietu Amerikos Pampose.

Dabar lauksiu kokiu Quechua indenu emailo apie tai, kaip jie mano nuotraukomis tapetuoja savo moliniu trobu sienas.

Atsitiktinai aptikau g12 įrašą, iš kurio - wifi hotspotų tinklo projektą Vilniui ir kitiems Lietuvos miestams miestas.storas.lt. Ten r'škias, žemėlapyje rasite, kur galima prisijungti savo wireless, o jei vartotojų bus daugiau, gal atsiras ir ryšio kokybę žyminčių įverčių ir komentarų. Džiugu kad toks atsirado, ir gal aš ir kiti pasinaudos ir duos feedback'o. Kad sąrašai plėstųsi ir kituose miestuose, būtų naudinga padaryt keletą nuorodų su kitų miestų koordinatėm.

Kaip suprantu, šis projektas išsirutuliojo iš kito - wireless sistemos FON. Nežinantiems paaiškinsiu, kad ji leidžia visam pasauly (tiksliau, ten, kur yra šios sistemos narių-tiekėjų) naudotis bevieliu internetu - su salyga, kad namie pats pradesi dalintis savo turimu internetu per wireless routerį (La Fonera).

FON movement reached Lithuania, and is slowly but surely spreading to the cities. A related project WiFi Miestas provides a comprehensive list of free FON and non-FON hotspots. So far it covers mostly Vilnius, hopefully it will cover other cities soon too.

Club der Visionaere. This back-of-a-boatshed haunt for recovering weekenders and general misfits exemplifies the best of Berlin's DIY bar culture. Comfily lo-fi, still manages a natural tree-covered canopy, a covered cinema, consistently brilliant music, and plenty of canalside seats (even if that means sitting in a boat).

Lemke Gasthausbrauerei. It's a brew pub. It has beer. It has food. It has everything except DJs, cocktails and anything that could be described as 'charming or eclectic'. The food is German in quantity and style but really the beer is what marks it out. The dark is very nice, the porter is excellent but the wheat is even better. It's friendly, it's always busy and it's easy to get to, even if the road it's on doesn't look very promising. There is even a beer garden.

The Tajikistan Tearoom. It's a tearoom, in fact the Tajikistani pavilion from a long forgotten trade fair in Liepzig in the Soviet era, recreated inside a Berlin assembly rooms. You can be boring and sit at tables but better to recline on fat cushions at low tables and enjoy the range of exotic teas.

Erdbeer (Max Beer Strasse 56; U-Bahn Rosa Luxembourg Platz). Erdbeer by day looks like a derelict block of flats, but by night tranforms into a cosy and unpretensious cocktail bar.The name 'Erdbeer' means strawberry which well describes the decor of comfy sofas and walls painted deep red. An extensive drinks menu includes a pint of daiquiri for 7 euros as well as exotic fruit juices and smoothies. It never gets busy before 11 though, which is when the DJ arrives ...
